Origin:
Kittu is one of the Anunnaki, a direct descendant of the primordial gods Abzu and Tiamat. An eighth generation deity, Kittu is somewhat less powerful than his forebears, but nonetheless possesses numerous powers that can only be described as super-human in nature.
Powers:
Aura / Plasma (a): while Shamash is most assuredly the sun god, Kittu is often considered a solar deity as well, albeit a lesser one - one who can stand in for Shamash when his duties require him elsewhere. Kittu's intensity 14 plasma aura provides him like (or +3) protection.
* Flight (a): the left hand of Shamash, Kittu occasionally stands in for his father, crossing the sky in a chariot fueled by his own might. He can soar around the world at intensity 11, or 1,037.54 miles per hour, a representation of the sun's daily movement around the earth.
* Plasma Generation (a): though he's not actually the sun, Kittu can nonetheless emit vast amounts of plasma energy, symbolic of providing light and heat to the earth. He can discharge intensity 12 amounts of plasma, inflicting AP SD energy damage with each blast.
Disguise (a): just like his father, Kittu is somewhat fluid in gender. While he is primarily depicted as male, Kittu has occasionally been portrayed as female, as well. Kittu can thus change his appearance as he sees fit, doing so with intensity 14 capability.
Immortality (s): while he's not nearly as powerful as either of his divine parents, Kittu is still immortal. He can be brought to zero Health and/or cards, and can even be killed, but will never die. No matter what happens to him, Kittu will persist indefinitely.
* Awe (w): as can his fellow Anunnaki, Kittu may wreathe his very body in the terrible power of his undying essence. Those within near missile distance are stupefied by this intensity 14 display, if Kittu can pass an easy difficulty Awe (willpower) action against them.
* Boon (i): Kittu is often called upon to provide aid in his own right, and can fuel entreaties made to him with intensity 12 ability. Primarily, this involves him granting 'generic' entreaties for power, as well as empowering Bane of Lies and Eldritch Bolt (plasma) entreaty spells.
Lie Detection (w): while determining the truth is but one of Shamash's pursuits, such is the primary pursuit of his son and left hand, Kittu. Kittu can readily perceive falsehoods with intensity 20 ability, whether spoken, written, drawn, or presented in any other format.
Hindrances / Augmentations:
Chronological Constraints: as is the case with his father, Kittu is quite vulnerable between sunset and dawn. During the night, Kittu does not have access to his plasma aura or any of the power stunts derived from it, leaving him with only his inherent abilities to protect himself.
Equipment:
Chariot: the son of Shamash, Kittu occasionally drives his father's chariot through the sky, filling in for him when he's too busy to deal with such work himself. He may focus his plasma aura through the chariot, allowing it to blaze with light and heat as he passes over our world.
Skills:
Law (i): a pursuit of truth is what drives Kittu, a passion that has seen him study every aspect of the law. While he can perceive falsehoods all too easily, Kittu knows he must often supplant this perception with facts, a process that the law handily allows him to complete.
Contacts:
The son and left hand of Shamash, Kittu works well with his father and his siblings, Bunene and Mesharu. He's also on good terms with his mother, Aya, along with the rest of the Anunnaki, helping to keep the peace amongst them by quickly getting to the bottom of their many disputes.
Calling:
Investigator: sure, Kittu inherently knows when something is true and when it is false, but proving it is often a different matter entirely. He thus strives to prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that which he can so readily perceive with his divine senses.
Costume:
Though a god in his own right, Kittu dresses a bit more humbly than his fellow Anunnaki. He tends towards a simple, knee-length tunic, worn beneath a girdle to hold it in place, and a light robe atop both of those garments. He also makes use of nondescript sandals and a horned cap.
Personality:
Though he'll fight when he must, Kittu isn't quite as ready to do so as is his sister, Mesharu. No, Kittu is more interested in bringing justice to those who deserve it, enjoying the process of determining the truth behind mysteries of all kinds in the process of doing so.

Story:
Kittu is not the god of the sun, though one could readily be forgiven for believing so. A son of Shamash, he who is the sun and the light, Kittu is one of the three most famous siblings sired by this great and powerful deity with his beautiful wife, Aya. Taking after both of his parents to some extent, Kittu has inherited many of the divine characteristics of both Shamash and Aya, which comes in handy for the whole family.
You see, Shamash has a whole lot on his plate. In addition to providing light and heat to the world, he must pass judgment upon both the living and the dead. When his father is simply too busy settling the grievances of others, Kittu stands in for Shamash on occasion. If his other siblings are indisposed, Kittu can drive Shamash's chariot through the skies, ensuring that the proper order of the modern world is maintained.
Alternately, as the left hand of Shamash, Kittu can assist his father in the adjudication of disputes between others. Kittu can immediately perceive falsehoods in his presence, whether spoken or otherwise, which makes settling matters of law quite simple. If not present himself, followers of the Anunnaki nonetheless entreat Kittu to aid them in getting to the root of matters, to varying degrees of success.
While powerful, Kittu is less inclined than his sister, Mesharu, to crack heads. She is the child of Shamash who dispenses punishment after he judges against the guilty, while Kittu focuses on determining guilt or innocence in the first place. He does not carry weaponry, and generally treads lightly. No, Kittu simply pursues the truth as its own reward, moved to violence only when faced with those who refuse to acknowledge it.
